It was simple enough to build, the pieces aren’t labeled so you have to look at the book a lot since it shows pictures of the pieces with their letters (ex. Piece A). The metal is like aluminum kinda so it’s sturdy enough but can be easily dented. I weigh 260lbs and i’m 6’2” and their bench holds me well while bench pressing 130lbs just don’t overdo it or use it in a crazy manner. The material for the padding is like a piece of compressed wood stapled to a sturdy sponge covered in leather so just be weary of that because it can easily break. It’s a bit awkward to use for your arms and legs i feel as if they made it short so it won’t be held right (by me at least) other than that it’s a good beginners but if you just want a bench for bench pressing i recommend finding a much cheaper one that is just the bench itself and doesn’t have all these extra stuff.
